THE PERFORMING ARTS ARE ALIVE AND WELL AND LIVING AT IHM!

Fall is a time for choirs! 

The IHM Girls Chorus is open to any and all fifth through eighth grade girls who enjoys singing.  They meet Wednesday afternoon from 3:10-4:00 in the music room. 

The IHM Girls Choral is a 27-member audition group open to seventh and eighth grade ladies.  Auditions are held in early September and rehearsals are Tuesdays from 3:10-4:00. 

Both groups perform in a combined Choir and Band Concert during the holidays, in addition to performances at local malls.  The IHM Girls Choral  has had the distinction of performing on WBAL during the holidays for the past four years.

Spring is the time for acting!

IHM is one of the very few parochial middle schools those presents a full Broadway marquee musical in the spring.  The tradition started four years ago with Godspell, and has continued with Into the Woods, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Bye, Bye, Birdie.  Auditions for this year’s musical, Once Upon a Mattress will be in late December and is open to all sixth through eight grade students.  Performances will be in late March.
