Immaculate Heart of Mary School is a Roman Catholic Parish School. It is a non-profit organization under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The Pastor has the sole authority over the operation of the parish. He empowers the Principal to administer the daily operations of the school. An appointed, consultative School Board assists the Pastor and the Principal in the governance and development of the school. This Board meets several times a year and has various committees that deal with the immediate and future needs of the school. Board members are parents, parishioners, and out side consultants all dedicated to perpetuating the mission of our parish school.

Purpose: The Immaculate Heart of Mary School Board is established by the Pastor and the Division of Catholic Schools, to assist the Pastor and the Principal in the governance of the Immaculate Heart of Mary School. The purpose of the Board is to foster and nurture the intellectual, moral, cultural, and physical growth of its students through the efforts and dedication of the school’s staff and parents, and to affirm the school’s broader mission – to proclaim Christ’s message, to foster community, to worship, and to serve others.
