[ 2008-2009 TUITION AND FEES ]

SCHOOL LINKS

1.  The “IN PARISH” tuition rate will be offered to all families who are parishioners of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.  To qualify for the parishioner rate:

a)  the child must be a baptized Catholic;
b)   at least one parent/legal guardian must be a baptized Catholic;
c)   the family must be registered as parishioners of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish;
d)   the Catholic parent(s)/guardian(s) must receive and use offertory envelopes on a weekly basis (although your support of the parish is encouraged, there is no set or required minimum donation – envelopes without a donation will still be recorded to indicate your participation).

2.  The family must be practicing Catholics as evidenced by the use of the Offertory envelope in the Church collection on a regular (weekly) basis.  If the family’s circumstances require, the envelope may be put in the Church collection empty to show participation at the weekly Eucharist.  Mailing the envelope or returning it to the Parish or School office does not fulfill this requirement.)

3.  The parish and school will review the envelope usage periodically.  Those families whose envelope usage does not indicate regular participation at Sunday (or Saturday evening) Mass will be required to pay the non-parishioner rate of tuition.

4.  Families who are newly registered or have recently moved into the parish and have fulfilled conditions 1a, 1b and 1c (above) will be afforded the parishioner rate in the expectation that they will be participating parishioners.  Their participation will be reviewed after six months to determine if they continue to qualify for the preferred rate.  It is the policy of the Archdiocese that families who transfer from one Catholic School to another without changing residence must wait one full year before the parishioner rate can be offered.

5.  The “OUT OF PARISH” rate will be charged to those who are not registered parishioners, who are non-Catholics or who do not fulfill the conditions for receiving the parishioner rate.

6.  No student will be accepted into next year’s enrollment if this year’s tuition has not been paid, in full, by May 30 unless appropriate arrangements have been made with the School Principal.

7.  Progress Reports may be withheld for non-payment.  No transcripts or any other material from Immaculate Heart of Mary School will be forwarded to any other school until all tuition is paid to date.

8.  If tuition has been paid in advance, and a family leaves the school, the tuition for future months will be refunded.  Refunds are not given for the current month after the first school day of that month.

9.  Registration fee is $200 per child.  The fee in NON-REFUNDABLE.

10.  During the course of the School year, if a family should suffer an unforeseen tuition delinquency problem, they should contact the School Principal immediately.
